She first appeared on TV in the late 1990s before appearing in movies like The Woods. Bruckner began her career at the age of 11. In 1999, she appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful daytime soap and in several TV pilots. Bruckner appeared as a teenage girl on the show Blue Car (2002). Bruckner was a Californian from Hollywood, being born of Hungarian parents as well as Russian mothers who had divorced. The paternal grandparents of Bruckner were German. The couple came together in Hungary and relocated into the U.S. in 1984 through an asylum camp in Italy. There are two sisters and an older brother.
