Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at the age of 13 under the name "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of Let's Plays and video estimating the wealth other YouTubers. After his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views in a matter of days, Donaldson became an instant YouTube star. His first videos included Let's Plays and videos that predicted the amount of money other YouTubers have.
